Spectrum Resource Group Inc. is recruiting for a Forestry Block Layout Crewleader. The Forestry Block Layout Crewleader will be responsible for safely delivering timber consulting and forestry management operations. This includes responsibilities such as enforcement of Spectrums OH&S systems and policy manual, daily communication and mentorship with crew leaders and field staff, client correspondence and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will bring a proven ability to lead and direct their crews to conduct the work required in a fast paced and changing environment, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of perfectionism in data entry. As a Block Layout Crewleader, you will have an excellent knowledge of timber harvesting operations, cutblock design, and associated riparian and ecological management strategies. You will be responsible for enabling your crews to be ready for work each day this includes tailgate meetings, ensuring that equipment is provided and in good working order and the crew is informed of daily activities, as well as the over arching contract plan. You will be responsible for enabling your crews to be ready for work each day, this includes tailgate meetings, ensuring that equipment is provided and in good working order and the crew is informed of daily activities, as well as the over arching contract plan. Spectrum Resource Group Inc. is seeking Timber Cruiser’s for our 2022 Timber Development season. The ideal candidate would bring at least 1 year experience in Timber Cruising as the lead cruiser. You would be experienced in the development of cruise plans, the ability to enter cruise data, and a fundamental knowledge of the 2020 Timber Cruising Manual.
